A handful - it was about 5-6m for most of the trip home. Much past that, and we'd be rushing for cover - MCDVs bend after 5m if we're not careful. The most I've done is about 7 - 8m on an MCDV (which means you're looking up at the crests from the sweepdeck and it's just plain miserable) and about 15 - 18m on a DDH (which means you're looking up at the crests from the quarterdeck and it's just plain miserable)
