COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man crashed his vehicle into pedestrians on the Ohio State campus Monday, then slashed students with a butcher knife before being fatally shot by a university police officer, authorities said.

Nine people were rushed to hospitals and one was in critical condition, according to university Police Chief Craig Stone.

The drama began shortly before 10 a.m. ET, when the suspect, who was not named, deliberately drove up over the curb and began his attack, Stone said. He said the officer arrived within a minute of the start of the attack and engaged the suspect.

"We are very fortunate that an OSUPD officer was there and took quick action," Stone said.

"Buckeye Alert: Active Shooter on campus. Run Hide Fight. Watts Hall. 19th and College" the university's emergency management agency tweeted. "Run hide fight" is emergency protocol used to warn people to flee if possible, hide from the shooter and, if all else fails, fight for your life.

Stone said it did not immediately appear that the attacker used a gun. The alert, however, appears to have been sent after the suspect was fatally shot.

A short time later, the agency tweeted a warning to "Continue to shelter in place in north campus area. Follow directions of Police on scene."

Fortunately the only person dead is the follower of that child raping shitstain from Medina.

This morning the major media in the US (with the exception of Fox News) are acting as if nothing happened yesterday.

As soon as the fuckers found out it was another one of their pet Moslems who carried out this attack they decided that it didn't fit their narrative so they moved on to something else.

And then they found out that the goddamned attacker was not just a Moslem using a car and a machete, oh no...he was stopped by someone with a gun...in a gun free zone.

And this is where I weigh in and say that I am utterly opposed to these gun free zones on university campuses where crazed killers (Moslem and not) run rampant and virtually unopposed. Had this particular goatfucker got out of his car with a firearm instead of a machete he could have killed a lot of defenseless people.

I say that if someone is a licensed concealed carry permit holder off campus then they need to be able to carry on campus to deter and stop attacks like this when they happen. Shooting based on religion or politics get more attention than random hood violence, even if there's multiple casualties in the gangsta gunplay. And it's not a conspiracy. The internet and local media does a terrific job of covering these events. It's the national media that drops the ball on coverage or inserts their own politics into their coverage before all the facts are known. Or are just plain lazy, where they do an initial report to ramp up the anti-gun narrative and then ignore it afterwards when it turns out to be just the usual poorly educated and atavistic anti-socials having another turf war over drugs.

Looking at the other 12 incidents, they don't seem to be gangsta gunplay. Folks disgruntled with their workplaces, mostly. And do we know that the OSU attack was based on religion or politics? Doesn't seem to be anything beyond speculation at this point.
