As was mentioned Obama managed to do in less than 3 years what Bush couldn't do in 8. Not only that, he managed to pull it off without invading a couple of countries.
Not bad for a "socialist wimp".
It probably wasn't an easy decision to make. Under normal circumstances the US would be globally reviled for committing such an act. But Bin Laden was such an asshole to the world, most of it didn't care.

Obama was waiting, but I'm guessing a CIA agent was on the golf course near by watching in case bin Laden left town.
