That is the general consensus from pretty much everyone I've talked to who smokes, tokes, eats, drinks or jams it up their ass.

My brother was out visiting at Xmas and bought some "legal" weed from one of the new and improved pot stores just for the novelty of saying he did it. Well, he paid $48 dollars for $10 dollars worth of pot and said he'd never do something that stupid again especially since he's growing his own and what he can't grow he can buy from his extremely longtime supplier.

You can see how screwed up it is just from the pricing models.

For ~$100 you can get 7g of Snoop Dog's strain, 15g of some local stuff, or 30g of 'generic' brand. Price and quality are all over the place.

And the best part - the rules on industry start up made sure the people who knew the most about the industry were excluded from it because of prior involvement.

Most people I know are of the opinion "legal weed" means they now have legal protection to rip off customers.
Can't punch out the dealer or forcefully take your money back, they can hide behind the police and the Chamber of Commerce....
