The way I remember it I intentionally avoided discussing Acosta because he had no more to do with the issue discussed than he does with this one on the American election in 2020.

Did you want to talk about Epstein now? As was explained to you on the other thread his crimes have no documented connection to Trump. You'd have better luck observing a more probable Clinton connection.

In fact, even Pelosi's daughter is worried about coming Dem connections now. The latest rumor I heard concerned something about Mueller. If you really do want to discuss legal wrangling in the background maybe I'll look it up for you.

But yeah, Acosta resigned. Trump accepted the resignation, seemingly reluctantly and said he did a great job in whatever capacity that was. So what? I'm going to assume you think this affects the 2020 election somehow, otherwise why is it so important to you here? In any case, good luck with that.

‘NOT A TYPO’: Democrat Poll Shows What Voters Think Of Omar, Ocasio-Cortez

A new internal Democrat poll in swing districts released on Sunday showed that socialist Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) are extremely unpopular and that they may cost the Democratic Party the presidency and the House in 2020.

"Ocasio-Cortez was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll; 22% had a favorable view," Axios reported. "Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — another member of The Squad — was recognized by 53% of the voters; 9% (not a typo) had a favorable view."

"Socialism was viewed favorably by 18% of the voters and unfavorably by 69%," Axios added, whereas "capitalism was 56% favorable; 32% unfavorable."

The firm that conducted the poll gave the results to Axios on the condition that it not be named because it works "with all parts of the party."

A top Democrat involved in the 2020 congressional races told Axios: "If all voters hear about is AOC, it could put the [House] majority at risk. [S]he's getting all the news and defining everyone else’s races. Socialism is toxic to these voters."

The poll's results match numerous other polls that have been taken on Ocasio-Cortez and socialism.

A June poll from inside Ocasio-Cortez's district found:

They don’t like her. She has a more than 2:1 ratio of unfavorable (50.88%) to favorable (21.37%) in public opinion.
They don’t trust her. Only 10.75% thought she had their best interests in mind in quashing the Amazon deal – 32.60% said she didn’t.
They don’t want her. 33.44% are ready to vote against her, and only 13.30% would vote for her.
"A Quinnipiac poll released on Thursday morning found that 23 percent of Americans had a favorable view of the member of Congress, while 36 percent had an unfavorable view — a -13 overall approval rating," Vox reported in March. "This new poll isn’t a one-off finding. Three prior surveys — one in January from Morning Consult, one in February from Fox, and a third in mid-March from Gallup — all found that more Americans had negative views of AOC than had positive ones."

A NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll from March found that, of socialism in general, "only 18% of respondents approved, while 50% of respondents disapproved."

House to vote to condemn Trump's 'racist comments.' Pelosi calls The Squad 'our sisters'

The House on Tuesday will vote on a resolution condemning President Donald Trump's "racist comments" directed at four congresswomen of color who he said should "go back" where "they came" from.

The resolution twice refers to "racist comments" by Trump but does not call the president a racist.

In a closed-door meeting with House Democrats ahead of the vote, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said “these are our sisters” in reference to the four newly elected Democratic lawmakers: Reps. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts.

Pelosi, D-Calif., insisted the resolution is about more than just "The Squad" — the nickname for the four congresswoman.

“The fact is, as offended as we are — and we are offended by what he said about our sisters — he says that about people every day, and they feel as hurt as we do about somebody in our family having this offense against them,” Pelosi said.

With 95% of the Democrat Presidential candidates supporting socialism to one extent or another (only Hickenlooper is 100% opposed to socialism) the Democrat Party has indeed come out of the closet as the socialist party people like me have always said they were.

So next year the choices will be a socialist or President Trump.

I'm predicting that Trump wins both the popular vote and the Electoral College and the idiot Democrat states that have signed on to the pledge to cast their Electoral votes for whoever wins the popular vote will shit themselves and try to undo their own laws.

I'm also predicting the Democrats to lose seats in the Senate, to lose control of the House, to lose more Governor's offices, and the Democrats will lose more seats at the state and local level.
