Mass shootings have increased since the Baby Boom generation came of age in the mid 1960's.

During WW2 a good number of leftists were unfit for military service so they filled the halls of academia that had been vacated by men who were fit for service.

As the bastards took over education they steadily worked to destroy the culture that had created Western Civilization..

Under their watch prayer was removed from the schools. US history transformed from a study of US history into a condemnation of US history. Home economics started to be removed from the schools because the left and the lesbians frowned on the idea of girls growing up to be mothers and wives. Tradecraft such as metal shop, wood shop, plumbing, and etc. were defunded because tradesmen were not reliable leftists, but college graduates were. Sciences were denigrated because they stress rigid answers to problems as opposed to ideological answers which typically clash with reasoned consideration.

And then morality was shit upon by academia and the result has been one generation after another that's become so amoral and so narcissistic that snowflakes now think they have a right to never be offended (or challenged or defeated or outcompeted).

Islamic terrorism aside, the remainder of the mass murders are committed by selfish pricks who've always been taught to think of themselves first and when they're confronted by a world that doesn't GAF about handing out achievement awards for doing shit everyone else has to do then the little fucks throw tantrums and strike out.

The worst incarnation of these pricks are the so-called "Incels" who attack women because no woman in her right mind would tolerate the company of these pathetic boy-man losers.

These beta-males are the perfect expression of the leftist academia that sought to demean the values of honor, morality, religious teachings, hard work, diligence, thoughtfulness, and above all: responsible masculinity.

The left hates these properties of manhood so it is of no surprise to me that these contemptible creatures conspired to destroy and now celebrate the destruction of the Boy Scouts.

The left hates everything about Western Civilization and now that they have so effectively eviscerated our most important cultural institutions of actual men and women they have the utter gall to complain that the vile creatures they created are vile creatures instead of decent men and women.

The real reason America has so many mass shootings is because American society is going down the shitter hard and attacks on society such as mass shooters and self-radicalized terrorists are a symptom of that.

By “going down the shitter” I mean a few different things, all of which have traditionally be championed by the Right and also so-called “centrists” like the Clintons and Chretien-Martins (who were really just fiscal conservatives who didn’t have hang ups about gays and minorites):

- the rise of Corporate rule over everything, whereby government policy is increasingly written for, and often by, corporations and other moneyed interests, which largely explains the remaining items

- destruction of the middle class since the trickle down economic policies introduced by Reagan and Thatcher, which have only caused increasingly insecure employment, lower wages, fewer benefits, longer work hours, and lower standards of living compared to previous generations

- skyrocketing costs for healthcare and education and housing at a time when working class people have less money and less free time than ever before

- skyrocketing household debt to go along with the skyrocketing costs of living and stagnant/falling income. Newly legalized Predatory lending practices make the debt harder and harder to pay off.

- increasingly shallow, narcissistic consumer culture caused by mass commercialism, where people are brainwashed by constant advertising and entertainment featuring a distorted reflection of society: people feel they are worthless unless they constantly spend their scarce money and debt on useless status symbols such as sports cars or designer fashion labels, beauty products or jewelry. At a time they less afford the necessities of life they feel irresistible anxiety and pressure to spend more and more on overpriced luxury items (see: lower income, higher debt, higher cost of living). This same shallow culture now places more pressure on men and women to try and imitate exaggerated depictions of masculinity and femininity and sexuality that causes anxiety and stress in some who can’t live up to the artificial standard. Even the movies, music and TV shows are increasingly mass produced or edited by panels of marketing experts not artists, and are mostly formulaic and unoriginal

- an overall sense that no matter how hard people try, they’ll be lucky to maintain their current living standard, let alone get ahead in life. Opportunities to try and get ahead by going back to school or starting a business have become “double or nothing” gambles that could leave them far more indebted and worse off than they were before. Even in good times they can never fully relax because they know bad times can be just around the corner and nobody is going to help them.

- the undeniable truth that in the 40- odd years since the Reagan-Thatcher economy, the ultra-rich and corporations have gotten far richer and reaped all the gains while everyone else has barely been able to hang on.

-Crony capitalism, millionaire politicians becoming the norm, unfettered lobbying, “corporations are people”, unlimited donations are free speech, the average person can see the system has obviously become perverted.

Of course this isn’t just true in the US but Americans fell harder and faster than the rest of the world. Their almost religious-like patriotism believe that “America’s the greatest nation on earth” blinded them to their many flaws for decades and then rhey has the rudest of awakenings after the disastrous Bush years and the financial collapse. Now they are so disillusioned many are lashing out. You rarely hear that “greatest nation “ shit anymore you do hear “where did we go wrong” all the time though

It's really just the fetishization of property rights to the point where trying to prevent any obviously dangerous & emotionally unbalanced person from possessing a weapon is now seen as a greater crime by too many than whatever carnage the lunatic eventually causes.

Tack on a chronic disrespect for women & children to the point where abuse against them simply isn't taken seriously at all by pro-gun male politicians even though it's statistically provable that most mass shooters are also responsible for numerous recorded incidents of violence in the home against the own families, and this is known by the authorities long before a mass killing takes place. This is also something common to the teenage school shooters, in that most of them are known for bullying/harassment of other students before they shoot up a school, most notably for stalking/intimidation of female students.

Take the easily noticeable behaviour markers (bullying, stalking, domestic violence, repeated run-ins with the police) of a mass killer, combined with them being in possession of a firearm, much more seriously and a lot of these incidents might be prevented.

At roughly the same time that Zimmermann killed Trayvon Martin, the Florida prosecutors put an abused woman in prison for using a handgun to scare off the husband who was coming at her to beat her up again, all because she fired a shot over his head in a "reckless" manner- she actually would have been legally better off just killing him outright with a bullet to the melon because she could have then used the stand-your-ground law for her defense and almost assuredly been found innocent in court. That's the sort of thing I meant, where these guys are being left alone to do what they want to their families and the state apparently doesn't give a damn at all. Or, even worse, the state is deliberately handcuffing the victims via selective prosecutions and effectively making them helpless to prevent their own imminent demise at the hands of the monsters

Any woman who's killed a mate who's beaten them or their kids shouldn't have to go anywhere near a fucking court room to defend themselves to the law. They should be given a goddamn medal for putting a rabid animal down.
