Most of the cops involved in that particular scandal are black, which effectively explains the overwhelming silence from the media and from local Baltimore politicians. If they'd been mostly white then the freak-out from the combined forces of the race-baiters would have been as much of an eruption as happened after the Ferguson shooting.

Didn't Lil Putin tell cops to rough people up? Seems this sort of behaviour is exactly what he wants.

With his demands of personal loyalty from the DoJ and law enforcement, this is exactly what they can expect from Der Trump

Didn't (President Trump) tell cops to rough people up?

Yes, he did. And I absolutely object to that proposal because it encourages the police to kill people and it encourages the people to kill the cops.

Another hideous story of police behavior coming out of Baltimore. Seems the fucking criminals with badges were literally an armed gang predating on other criminals and the citizenry of that Democrat-dominated cesspool.

In Baltimore, Brazen Officers Took Every Chance to Rob and Cheat

A far-reaching corruption scandal is the last thing Baltimore’s troubled police department needs. But day after day, the revelations keep coming.

A bit of good news for once in this thread:

Police officer fired for not shooting black suspect wins $175,000

$1:
A former police officer who alleged he was fired for not shooting a black suspect during a standoff has settled a wrongful termination suit with his former department for $175,000.

“At the end of the day, I’m happy to put this chapter of my life to bed,” said Stephen Mader, a former officer in Weirton, West Virginia, who was also granted a pledge that his former employer would not prevent him from obtaining a new job in law enforcement elsewhere...

R=UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's sad though is that while this cop got fired for not shooting someone who didn't need to get shot, the two cops who showed up later and murdered the man anyway didn't get prosecuted for murder.

Justine Damond shooting: US policeman charged with murder

Officer Mohamed Noor, 32, turned himself in over the death of Justine Damond in Minneapolis, prosecutors said. He is accused of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

Ms Damond died in July last year after calling police to report a possible sexual assault outside her home.

A lawyer for Mr Noor said his client had acted in line with police training.

But in announcing the charges, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman alleged Mr Noor had "recklessly and intentionally fired his handgun".

"There is no evidence that Officer Noor encountered a threat, appreciated a threat, investigated a threat or confirmed a threat that justified his decision to use deadly force," Mr Freeman told reporters.

If convicted, Mr Noor could face up to 25 years in prison on the murder charge, and up to 10 years on the manslaughter charge.

The death of Ms Damond, also known as Justine Ruszczyk, caused an outcry in both the US and Australia.

Mr Freeman said Mr Noor was sitting in the passenger seat of a police patrol car when he shot Ms Damond through a window.

After she was shot, Ms Damond put her hands on a wound to her abdomen and said, "I'm dying" or "I'm dead", according to Mr Freeman.

Here one right in Sacramento Bart... :(

Sacramento police shot 20 times at unarmed man in his yard

$1:
Relatives, activists and Sacramento officials are questioning why police shot at an unarmed black man 20 times, killing him, when he turned out to be holding only a cellphone in his grandparents' backyard.

Relatives have identified the man as Stephan Alonzo Clark, 22, according to The Sacramento Bee. His fiance, Salena Manni, the mother of his sons, ages 1 and 3, said his first name was Stephon.

"We're mourning right now and so we need our time to mourn," she said Wednesday as the family gathered in his grandparents' home.

Police say the man was spotted breaking at least three vehicle windows Sunday night. Sheriff's deputies in a helicopter say they saw him break a neighbor's sliding glass door.

Two arriving officers chased him into the backyard of his grandparents' home, where he was staying. The department says he refused orders to stop and show his hands. He advanced toward the officers holding an object extended in front of him, the department said. The officers thought he was pointing a handgun and opened fire, fearing for their safety, the department said.

No gun was found and only the cellphone was found near his body when more officers arrived and approached him about five minutes after the shooting, the department said.

"He was at the wrong place at the wrong time in his own backyard?" Clark's grandmother, Sequita Thompson, told The Sacramento Bee . "C'mon now, they didn't have to do that."

The department could not say how many times Clark was hit, and the coroner's office was not releasing information until his relatives were notified. The department said the two officers have been with Sacramento police for two and four years, but each has four years' previous experience with other law enforcement agencies. Both are on paid administrative leave.

Clark routinely helped care for his grandparents at their home in south Sacramento, his cousin, Sonia Lewis, told Capitol Public Radio.

Yup, another black kid shot dead because he had a cell phone in his hand. He's not the first.

A couple notes here:

1. We will never see the cell phone ever again. It will be 'lost'.

2. Someone else will be identified as the car burglar. This will be quietly covered up.

3. It'll happen again before the year is over.

4. The body cam footage will also likely, "disappear".
