17 year old kid essentially gets killed for daring to flash his high beams at one of The Anointed Ones.

A comment on Live Leak sums it up nicely:

$1:
@VitriolKOF, the outcome isn't about flashing lights.
it's about disobediance, resistance and escalation.
fuck-the-police behaviour gets you fucked by the police and this is a pretty harsh example...

Murdering a church full of people will get you arrested but Contempt of cop is an instantaneous capital offense in the USA.

It's not the job of the police to dish out street justice but thank you for letting us know that you support that kind of thing.

It's not 'street' justice, it's just justice and within the law.

And that's why the cop was cashiered because he was within the law. Uh-huh.

Seems to me his own department disagrees with you.

Shocking Video: Police Break 12 Year-Old’s Jaw, Rib At Ohio Pool Party

No, it’s not the McKinney pool incident. But shortly after the Texas altercation that went viral, a very similar situation happened in Fairfield, Ohio. Fairfield was the home of John Crawford, who was killed last summer for holding a BB-gun he picked up off a suburban Walmart shelf.

In the Fairfield suburb of Cincinnati, police and patrons of the Fairfield Aquatic Center saw a disturbing incident of police brutality go down just a week ago.

That incident, all caught on video, shows an assault by police that witnesses are calling “unnecessary,” “inappropriate,” even “injurious.”

Take a look at the footage of the incident:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94dDhWohWLc

It all happened on Tuesday, June 9th, when officers from the Fairfield Police Department arrived in response to a call of “a group of juveniles” who were asked to leave because someone had a problem with their swimming attire.

That incident quickly escalated to the police using physical violence and pepper stray on the teens.

In all, four people were arrested, including two adults. The children taken by the police were only 12 and 15-years-old.

The two adults arrest, Krystal and Maya Dixon, appeared in court this week, facing charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Tuesday, Bishop Bobby Hilton, the leader of Word Deliverance Ministries in Forest Park, held a conference where he played the video Dixon’s family was able to record that day.

He also showed photographs of the two children who had to be hospitalized due to the violence the police used against them.

Hilton described his own reaction to the police brutality as “shocked” and “embarrassed”. He characterized this as “ridiculous” and “excessive” use of force, on behalf of the police.

Not surprisingly, Fairfield Police Chief Michael J. Dickey felt very differently about the police use of violence against children.

He said that the video clips “reinforce” his belief that the officers did everything right.

“All they are trying to do is calm everyone down,” Dickey said in a pro-police article run by The Cincinnati Enquirer.

“It’s just business” he said, almost like a mafia hitman.

Fairfield Mayor Steve Miller said that he too has seen surveillance video of the incident. He said he agrees that the police didn’t do anything wrong by breaking the jaw and rib of a child at the pool.

“This is an unfortunate situation and our officers had a tough situation there. But I think they did a good job in showing restraint,” Miller claimed.

“Restraint” for Ohio cops is apparently defined as smashing the bones of children.

Miller admitted that he has neglected to watch the first-hand footage shot of the incident.

“Give us some time to review this and give a response,” the mayor said, when asked why he didn’t watch the 1:17 long video.

“I’ve talked to the police chief, the city manager and the parks and recreation director. We have to complete our investigation. But if anyone else has more information about this, we’d like them to provide that to us.”

Hilton was very upset that he was even being bothered with questions about this police brutality.

“It really disturbs me that I’m here,” Hilton said. “I don’t want to be known as someone who stands against police officers.”

Yea, for now. It's all about optics now to prevent protest....even if it was the right thing to do.

A numbnuts with a badge feels threatened and shoots a leashed Golden Labrador Retriever three times.

"Feels threatened" is all it takes to justify one of these sh*theads killing anything and everything they want.

We had tighter rules of engagement in Afghanistan and Gulf War I!

$1:
A Cleveland police officer fatally shot a family's one-year-old yellow labrador dog while it was tied to a leash.

On June 12, Tyler Muzzi returned home after lunch to discover a stranger walking back and forth outside his neighbor's home. Muzzi saw the man walk up the neighbor's driveway twice before disappearing around the opposite side of the home. Muzzi alerted the homeowner, Bryant Steele, who then called the Cleveland police.

The police arrived at Steele's home within minutes and arrested the man, who had entered his house but exited to give himself up to police.

Assuming that police were finished with the scene, Muzzi said he was surprised to hear gunshots later. Unsure of where the shots were fired, Muzzi opened his front door to see what had happened. "At first, I thought I had heard only two shots, but there were actually three that had been fired," said Muzzi. "I thought they had shot the man in custody or something."

An officer told Muzzi that his yellow labrador was shot and that he needed to check on the dog. Muzzi rushed to his backyard to find his dog, Miller, injured, while the officers and the investigator who shot the dog looked on silently, hesaid. The dog had been tied to a leash before the police arrived on scene. When he saw his dog lying on the ground wounded, Muzzi said he was in complete shock. Quickly, he wrapped his dog in towels and called the Cleveland Pet Clinic to say that he was coming with his injured dog. The police called animal control which arrived to help Muzzi transport his dog to the vet. The veterinarians found that Miller's spine had been severed in two places. Shortly after, the dog died.

Muzzi said the police officer who shot the dog apologized to Muzzi and told him that he felt threatened and didn't see the leash, but later on, Cleveland Police Chief Charles Bingham told Muzzi and his wife Bethany that the investigator saw the leash but had the right to shoot the dog since he felt threatened. The Muzzis were shown videos of the incident as it happened. The cameras did not capture the investigator shooting the dog. They could only hear the dog bark, and they heard the officer open fire in a span of 4 seconds in the background, Muzzi said. Bingham told Muzzi that the police department would pay for Miller's vet bill and buy another dog for his family. "That was like a slap in the face," said Muzzi. Muzzi said that Miller was a very friendly dog and was never aggressive toward strangers.

Citing potential litigation facing the police department, Bingham declined to comment at all on the story Tuesday.

The Bolivar Commercial reported that the investigator who shot the dog is currently on administrative leave.

Tyler and his wife Bethany Muzzi did not tell their 5-year-old daughter Emma that their dog had been shot. Instead, they told her that Miller had been hit by a car. "We wanted to keep her innocent," said Muzzi, "We don't want her to be scared of law enforcement."

Many people have offered to give the family a dog, but they family has declined all offers. Emma's grandmother gave her a yellow labrador clay statue which resembles her dog Miller. "(Emma) takes the clay statue to sleep, pets it, brings it food," said Muzzi, "My wife and I have been really upset about it. Just heartbroken. But Emma's been really strong."

Tyler Muzzi said the family has has been very appreciative and received overwhelming support not only from the Cleveland community but from as far as Alaska and Canada. A New York man named Nick Barone, whom the Muzzi family did not know before this incident, heard the story and created a Facebook page titled "Justice 4 Miller Muzzi" to show support for the dog and the family. The page has garnered nearly 5,000 likes since its creation last weekend.

Barone is a national director for "Freeze Don't Shoot,", an online group that creates Facebook support pages for families whose dogs are shot by police. Barone heard about the Muzzi's dog through a news article posted online and almost immediately started the Facebook page. "You have no idea how many dogs are shot daily by police," said Barone, "There was just a case in New Jersey where a police officer showed up at the wrong house and shot someone's German Shepherd. We're trying to get the word out and increase public awareness and get support." Barone believes the police do not have to answer to anyone, saying "there is no accountability and so (the police) investigate themselves and this allows them to get away with this day after day."

$1:
Michael Wood, ex-Baltimore officer, tweets about alleged police brutality
Just hours after the leak of an autopsy report declaring 25-year-old Freddie Gray's death while in custody a homicide, the Baltimore Police Department was hit with a torrent of new brutality allegations — this time, from one of its own former officers.

Michael A. Wood Jr. is the 11-year Baltimore police veteran and former U.S. marine behind a Twitter account that has drawn widespread attention since Wednesday, when he began tweeting about things he said he witnessed during his time on the force.

So here we go. I'm going to start Tweeting the things I've seen & participated in, in policing that is corrupt, intentional or not.
— @MichaelAWoodJr

So far, Wood's unconfirmed allegations include that Baltimore police officers urinated and defecated on the beds of suspects during raids, faked court appearances to collect overtime and once slapped an innocent woman in the face simply for bumping into them, among other things.

Illinois cops shoot a handcuffed man who was in the back of a police car and the aftermath gets caught on video.

Naturally the hero cop has to go nuclear on the person who was getting it on video and rolls out the tired old bullshit intimidation tactic of "I want to see your ID!"

Colorado cops beat the crap out of a man in custody while yelling "Stop resisting!" which, of course, makes it okay.

The police were too busy hamming it up for the reality show: "The first 48 " to actually do their jobs and investigate the murder. They railroaded Mr. Smart on manufactured murder charges. They ignored evidence, and committed perjury in an attempt to convict Mr. Smart. Mr. Smart spent 19 months in jail thanks to the laziness of the Miami police department. That laziness has cost the city of Miami almost one million Dollars in a lawsuit that took the jury only three hours to deliberate. So far no charges have been announced against the officers for commiting perjury.

Leave it to the UK to do the job of compiling statistics on how many Americans die by police gunfire.

Note that of all the crime statistics the FBI collects the one they don't want is the number of people shot by police agencies across the nation.

This video sums up everything that is wrong with policing in the U.S. today. Good cops who turn in bad cops, have their careers and lives ruined

How messed up is this? A photographer who was checking up on police use of seat belts gets arrested. While in the back of the police car, the officer tells his partner to turn his radio to "car to car" so the conversation cannot be heard or recorded by headquarters. He than asks if his partener wants him to proceed directly to the booking and release center, or do anything special. Special? Special how? Special in like the rough ride that was given to Freddy Grey in Baltimore? Its only after they realize that they are recording themselves, that they discontinue their conversation.
