|Post subject:||A poem I wrote a long time a go|
I will no longer count sheep,
during my final sleep.
I will lay peaceful in my boxed bed,
once I am gone and dead.
I will not share my space in which I lay,
with anyone, sad or gay.
No parents, or pets, or love to feel,
as I lay with a pile of dirt at my heel.
For me it is darkness, no longer a sun,
I lay still and quiet, no place to run.
The bugs have already eaten my skin,
I've lost the ability to smile and grin.
I even got this copyrighted and in a book! I wrote it in junior high.

I believe I was in social studies at the time, I never liked that class, but I did get a full collection of poems about death out of it
