Golly. I can't compete with the magic alread spread upon these grateful pages, but here is one of my latest.

This Long Day

They must have playgrounds up in Heaven; must have lots of those.
Monkey bars and slides and swing sets, rows, and rows, and rows.
Hide and seek to play for ever; gloves and balls and bats,
Hamsters, gerbils, squirming puppies, lots of kitty cats.
Angels there with loving arms for babes who fall and cry;
Waiting for the Moms and Dads who'll get there by and by.
Hush, my darling. I'll be there when this long day is done.
We will spend forever laughing then in endless Sun.

If that didn't totally sicken you, below are the URLs to my web sites. I also post a lot on http://allpoetry.com under the name LarryATilander.

I read most of your war peoms. I like them. They are most definately not childish. And, although I am a youth, that was no lie figfarmer.

Most of your work hit nerves I sometimes think have been dead for years. Grown men don't cry ,right? I'll have to go back for more later. Can't see real clearly at the moment.

Does it help? Writing it down? Because maybe some of us need to find something that helps.

It's a scientific formula. Invented by a Russian, I think.
