Is this post spot-on, off the rocker, or somewhere in between? What would happen if the HSBC does go tits up? |

Anytime I start to read something in an article about the horrors of fiat currency, then look up and see a category called 'class warfare', I usually just switch it off. However, HSBC has started to limit the amounts of cash withdrawals, which is never a good sign. Same thing happened in Cyprus, too, so be prepared. |

So far it is just fringe sites I can find talking about it "Collapsing." Others like BBC mention the same guy and his withdrawal but point out that HSBC had simply made a policy change and are considering undoing it, maybe. No mention of collapse. However this does not mean it is not true just because it is a fringe site. Much of what it says in the article about how our banks run is true, and scary. |

Maybe the profits from laundering drug money has dried up... Anyway forcing people to prove they need their own money for something before you let them withdraw it, is just a nice reminder to people that money you put in a back is no longer your money. It's the bank's money and they don't have to give it back to you. The whole board of HSBC should be in jail for the bank's criminal activities. But I guess it wouldn't do to punish banks for getting caught doing criminal things. |

Fuck HSBC made my life miserable and was more than glad when they got fined close to 2 billion for laundering 20 billion in drug and terrorists money. And AFAIK no one spent a day in jail for it. |
