Major upset if this happens. Wonder what it was the Dippers did that caused their lead to collapse because Clark certainly didn't seem to do very much to warrant the voters doing a 180-turn from where they were a couple of months ago. Either that or it was the same thing that happened in Alberta with the Wildrose in our last election, and the NDP were listening to the wrong information from the wrong sources and ended up tuning out what was really happening on the ground. Shocker regardless if the Lib lead holds true. 8O

If it does end up being an Alberta PC type shocker I sure hope your comeback kid doesn't turn out as badly as ours has so far.

WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED.

I'm in love with my fellow British Columbians right now. Biggest upset in BC political HISTORY

You're saying the Libs will lose in the third?

NDP won in my neck of the woods. Not surprising either (65% or something).

Tom Clark: "We are witnessing an Alberta style turnaround".

This actually happened guys. The BC Liberals GAINED seats. Get used to 4 more years of Premier Christy Clark!

Hell yes!

No, the NDP is losing in the third after rolling in with a commanding lead.

No doubt. The Fraud managed to toss out a couple of million to some of her retiring staffers within a couple of days of laying off half the palliative care nurses working in Calgary. Death by a thousand cuts and every single one of them the b***h and her party have done to themselves, and to us.

Gotcha.

Could this be a matter of overconfident NDP voters skimping on voting, while Liberals made voting a priority because it was a do-or-die situation with the poles being so close?

I think a lot of voters leaning towards NDP had cold feet in the polling stations. The promise of deficits that Dix had no issues in announcing likely scared the centrists.

Very possible.

I think it could also be people seeing continuing with the Liberals as a better alternative than letting the NDP back in.

The gap between seats right now could get tighter. Not enough polls reporting in some ridings to say for sure yet.

52 seats. They've gained 4 seats since 2009. This is comeback of the century in BC politics. All Christy detractors have to STFU (in the party) now. She's got the numbers.

Liberals are now being declared the winners.

The NDP wasn't prepared and Dix had not rehearsed the concession speech.

Incredibly classic.
