One thing that is for sure...the conservatives were in WAY worse shape than they would admit and it was made worse by trying to bribe the public with frivolous spending in an attempt to stay in power. Rodney should be ashamed of himself-not the worst but one of the worst Premiers ever to serve.

So now, after Dexter has had a full term, I can say that I have been extremely disappointed. Yes, I voted NDP last time. Mr Dexter has handed out big cash to big corporations like he was Rodney MacDonald himself. Big money to Irving, big money to pulp mills and shut down the ferry which goes from Yarmouth to Maine...only to start accepting bids a few months back on a private operator to run it...because the election was coming you know!

Stories of Mr Dexter on Emera's private jet make people wonder too (that's the company which owns Nova Scotia Power which was sold by a previous Conservative provincial government in the 1990s for about half its value).
