I already said it in this thread, the Sedins are dinosaurs. Trade them for more young blood.

meh, single point at least. Kinda like seeing the Oilers finally doing something, prefer they'd do it with others though...

Don't know who the new guy is, but pretty sure Shorthouse was doing the last SN game.

And I hope he's back for the next game, along with the other John, Garrett, when they play Washington on Thursday. I also hope they'll have Donnelly back singing the anthem again!

Vancouver vs Washington
7

The Canucks look to snap a two-game winless skid when they host Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals tonight for the first and only time this season.

Two games without a win may seem like a modest slump but the last thing the Canucks want is for it to spiral into a lengthy losing streak. With that in mind, coming off losses to the Blues and Oilers on this current five-game home stand, the Canucks will make some notable line-up tweaks as they look to reverse the momentum and score a victory against the Capitals, who put a three-game win streak on the line tonight and have lost just one of five games they've played so far this season.

The Canucks will reunite one of their most productive lines from last season when Radim Vrbata returns to the top unit with the Sedin twins. The Kid Line of Baertschi-Horvat-Virtanen stays intact, while Burrows-Sutter-Hansen forms another trio. Jared McCann, who missed Sunday's game against Edmonton, also returns and will take Adam Cracknell's spot in the line-up. No changes are expected on the blue-line meaning Yannick Weber remains the odd-man out.
