Here I was hoping it would show how groups help disabled or mentally challenged kids learn about Ice Skating and what not. One of my cousins children has down syndrome. There is a group that takes children like this and teach them how to ice skate. She uses a walker on the ice but has a blast. She fell a few weeks ago and many thought that would be the end of it. Nope she wanted to go back the next weekend. If you have programs like that in your area I would suggest you support them in what ever way you can. |
