I think Gainey was hoping to get Hossa AND Lehtonen (or the other Atlanta goalie). The Hossa deal fell through and Gainey got burned ![[cheer]](./images/smilies/icon_cheers.gif "Cheer"){kind=icon}

That's going to be way way down the list.. I can't help but laugh though - it's so bad, it's funny
For the Pitt/Atlanta trade - what the hell is Maguire going on about. It's going to destroy Sidney Crosby? Huh?? I think Esposito has A LOT to prove (he's kinda lazy, à la Alexandre Daigle if you ask me). Christensen is a bit overrated IMO and Armstrong, well he's Armstrong The first round pick could be quite low if Pittsburgh finished high. I guess it all depends if Hossa re-signs with Pittsburgh. Time will tell I guess.

I wrote Maguire off a long time ago as an over dramatic weenie. Crosby isnt going to go down because of it. Ya Armstrong and Crosby had some nice chemistry going and that is going to be a shame to lose out on but still its Crosby we are talking about, he will pick it up with someone else, maybe Hossa. I think the pens gave up too much for Hossa, I have my doubts he will re-sign with the pens, but who knows. As for Gainey....  ![[laughat]](./images/smilies/smilie_auslachen.gif "laughing at")

I think Hossa will resign sure he has to prove in the playoffs to get the money he is asking but he is at a young team with lots of talent what more can a guy what and crosby he can work with hossa hell he could probably look wade belak look good thats how crosby is |

Two things surprised me when it was all over yesterday. 1) Montreal traded away Huet, their #1 goalie and didn't replace him. 2) Emery wasn't traded even after hearing comments that he wouldn't be in Ottawa when the day was done. |

1) Montreal traded away Huet, their #1 goalie and didn't replace him. 2) Emery wasn't traded even after hearing comments that he wouldn't be in Ottawa when the day was done. #2 Ottawa didn't trade Emery because he is a good goalie if he dont fight with the team and he is good in the playoffs |
