I watched a little of the Tradecentre today on TSN.... XD They used a whole day for nothing. The only reason Trade deadline day is a big deal is because the Canadian sports network make it out to be, no other channel has anything on it. No US Sports channel anyways....LOL
Great job Toronto Sports Network..TSN for short..... :D :D

Isn't Petiot a prospect? I thought TO was supposed to be rebuilding - why get rid of your prospects???

And what happens now with Gerber and Joseph? mmmmm :|

Well, I guess the deals were made but not announced.

There's an interesting question on Radio-Canada:

Should the last trade day be match-free ?

There was only two matches scheduled today and the coach of the Sabres said that the players were still watching TV 2 minutes before getting on the ice.

How can you have a good preparation for a match if you don't know if you will play ?

True enough...most teams that had deals in the works scratched they prospective players from last nights games. Would be a real bitch if you were just about to head out for the warm up just to have the equipment trainer come to you and ask for the uniform back....

Petiot was a prospect, but so is Rogers, Petoit was drafted in the 4th Round, Rodgers was a 1st Round pick. I think it might be a shrewd move by Burke. I just don't understand why he traded for Kolzig, he's injured for the rest of the season...

I wonder if any player has been dressed to play on deadline day, only to be told he has to report to the other dressing room and play for the other team?

As for the Habs (against the Sabres tonight), not a single trade was made today. Gainey (the DG) was supposed to make a conference at 15h30 but at the end of the deadline, it was cancelled.
