$1: unrealted to Climatology to be able to have an informed opinion about Climatology. so somebody who has a degree in computer science, statistics, chemistry, physics or some other science, that utilizes hard science, can't question the math and models being used?? I'm sorry math is math whether you're an engineer, chemist or theoretical physicist. The formulas used cross disciplines, so if you see an error, you're qualified to make an informed comment on it. |

So that would be related fields then, wouldn't it? I've studied those, so I know how they are related. Doesn't mean I know jack about Climatology. Geology could be related, because geologists do study ancient climate. How about someone that studies how protiens are replicated in RNA and leads to aging? Would that be a related field? The point being, if someone doesn't study Climatology or a related field, how are they expected to have informed opinions on climate change? Doctor Suzuki studied fruit flies.
