The PC term for somebody who is cracked is "special".

This very special lady needs to spend a fair amount of time in a mental health facility.

Really? Flying those little "drones" around is one thing. Attaching a camera to it for "personal use" and flying it over a beach, or using it to peek in people's upstairs windows seems a little creepy.

I love how assaulting a minor (who is doing nothing even remotely illegal) get's a headline like that...

Yet the NSA or the CSIS peeping into people's bedrooms via their webcams is somehow acceptable to most people.

Not just beach. Would you like one of those things hovering over your backyard, or peeking in your windows or what have you? We need regs governing cameras on these things.

When I lived on Wreck Beach (nudie) we had people we called crabs. Fully dressed men who would shuffle along sideways so they could stare at the women. Some of our more recent Canadians would sit on a rock and point and jabber in their own language about the excitement of it all. Guess it was racist of us to politely but firmly ask that they move along.

Not to me it ain't. That's a level of insidiousness that goes beyond the pale.

We already have rules regarding 'these things'.

The rules are based on reasonable expectations of the victim, so why it would matter if the camera is mounted on a drone or carried by hand are kind of silly.

Edit for additional info:

$1:
Criminal Code of Canada, 162. (1): (“Criminal Voyeurism”)
Every one commits an offence who, surreptitiously, observes – including by mechanical or electronic means – or makes a visual recording of a person who is in circumstances that give rise to a reasonable expectation of privacy

"Including by mechanical or electronic means"...it would appear that drones are already covered.

Time to breakout the "home defense" stingers. R=UP

Really, an expectation of privacy on a public beach. Sorry bitch but your self entitled attitude is only exceeded by your propensity for unrequited violence.

Although IIRC there's a big difference between a public beach and a private home or property and if you did that to someone in their home or yard you'd be charged and or deservedly punched out.

BTW from what I've seen on nude beaches around the world, those immigrants were probably just discussing how all those great whites got that far out of the water without mechanical assistance.

The program is called "Optic Nerve".

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/f ... rnet-yahoo

Optic Nerve is a program that operates under the umbris of the Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group (JTRIG) which is the new way to refer to the "Five Eyes" of the English-language intelligence community: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2014 ... ipulation/

Yep, that's right: We know for certain that webcams on Yahoo have been and are spied on by our intelligence services. It stands to reason that any webcam can be used this way.

It's also something Snowden touched on in his NBC interview when he said that cameras on cell phones could be activated without the user's knowledge. Stands to reason that doing the same thing on a laptop or desktop computer would be even easier.

Hmm, I'm going to buy a drone fly it over a beach and see what happens.
