I am a football fan and love the game no matter what.

I enjoy the CFL very much. It is a more passing oriented game. I am a dedicated Alouettes fan and relish about the game all around.

The NFL rocks. They have the bigger stars and still a very good game. It's cool to see its increase in popularity here in Canada.

ROTFL

Admit it, it's a good one. XD

But seriously, the NFL is good. I am watching plenty of games over here. I love the game of football.

I love the CFL, but the NFL has a better game to watch and the availability of fantasy football makes it better. The NFL markets the stories of their players better. Stories like Tom Brady a 6 round pick to a mult-Superbowl Chap or Favre.

And now the NFL post season is all set to go.

That should be fun. Although, it should be interesting which teams make it all the way to the Superbowl.

I love football and watch both. Try switching back and forth between them when they have games on at the same time. The difference in the size, speed, power, and athleticism between NFL and CFL players is obvious. The NFL is on a whole different level. I guess thats why they make the big money.

Johnny-Canuck, it is interesting that you should mention all the hype in the NFL. One of the biggest criticism I've heard from Americans about the CFL is that it is just not exciting like the NFL.
When I request an explanation of 'not exciting', I get the same reply 'not exciting'. Here is my interpretation: Canada doesn't spend enough money on fancy advertisements, concerts, colours and logos and any other type of non-game activities during the football game and this is boring. If this is true, I don't find it to be a bad thing. Any thoughts on this?

This frrom a country that manages sellout crowds for HIGH SCHOOL games? I don't get it personally, they are just distracted with bright lights, music and athletes who cannot stay on the right side of the law.
Give me the CFL any day, I find a longer field, 3 downs, and a good mix of running and passing plays to be far more entertaining than a bunch of overpaid 25 year olds who take the ghetto on to the field.

That's just because they are a bigger league with Waaaaaay more fans, they have to market it this way to keep the interest alive.
