Germany pulled out the win they absolutely needed today with an at the death, rocket of a shot from Tony Kroos. I thought that game was headed for a draw but the Germans pulled it off, once again proving Gary Lineker's famous adage true. |

Germans at their best.... However Sweden could have two goals if one of their player wasn't pushed by German player in initial minutes... |

Thumbs up to the Panama fans... Even down 6-0, they cheered like crazy when their team scored a goal. |

Colombia played far better than I expected against Poland. Lethal on the breaks. I was also confidently predicting a win for Senegal against Japan. |

The big crime in the Swiss game was Mitrovic being held down by not one but two defenders and not getting a penalty for it. |

Yeah good games today. England ripped Panama a wider canal while japan and Senegal played to an entertaining draw. Columbia beat a poor Poland side in a true example of how well they can play. The first game against japan was understrength and on the back foot from the get go. Final round of group matches begin tomorrow. |

Vive Le Coq! Okay, a tie was enough to pull them through to the 16, I will take it. Sad day for Australia. They will be missed. |

Croatia, as expected, finished strong, sweeping Group D. Sadly, Argentina also slipped through, so we have to deal with the goat BS for at least one more game. |

He did score a great goal. One that eclipses the talent on an otherwise mediocre team. They’re going to get wrecked by France in the next round and their idiot coach will return to Argentina at his own peril. |

Here's hoping. Maybe Messi can co with him, rather then to Spain. Lol, I really don't like Messi, which is separate from my equal distaste for Argentina's national soccer program. |
