It's been so long since Canada was in a world cup soccer event that I can't remember it. I think it was in the 80's wasn't it?
Anyway with an aggregate win against SV & G where will this get them?

Canada opened its World Cup qualifying campaign with a 3-0 victory over St Vincent and the Grenadines. Canada plays a total goal home and away leg against SV&G. Well Football simply isn't a Canadian tradition. While the same can be said about the USA, it's still a fact that the USA's sheer size in numbers means that it has more football followers than most European countries' whole populations. Latin American immigration is also creating interest in the sport in the USA, and there is a strong domestic league that is now consistently churning out good future prospects. |

I would think Canadians would be better at soccer since it's somewhat similar to hockey. If you watch the soccer games, you'll notice they move the ball back and forth and advance in similar way to hockey. |
