Canada lost it's first game in Mixed Doubles Curling to Norway 9-6 in an extra end. They then went on to defeat the USA 6-4 followed by a 10-4 win over China. They then went on to defeat Finland 8-2 to bring their record to 3-1. |

Hyack Hyack: Canada lost it's first game in Mixed Doubles Curling to Norway 9-6 in an extra end. They then went on to defeat the USA 6-4 followed by a 10-4 win over China. They then went on to defeat Finland 8-2 to bring their record to 3-1. The just needed a warm up game to get it all going their way. |

I like it. They've been doing it internationally for 8 years as an organized specific event competition. Canada is only now getting officially interested because it's in the Olympics. John Morris called up Kaitlyn Law the night the qualification round began in Canada to get their team together. Other nations have year-round teams, work on their craft and practice strategies. Also, there's a certain amount of athletism. Watch Morris jump up to sweep his own rocks or Kaitlyn sprint after her male partner's blistering shots. They've got an edge on the traditional curling Tubby patrol. |
