Tricks Tricks: Something isn't wrong. Everyone else improved. That's what happens when Canada coaches go all over the world and train them how to play. They're making it more competitive. |

Fighter Fighter: Congratulations to Canada... By the way, Canadians should have a cricket team...Like UK, Pakistan. We do, only it’s not very good. We played the world’s first ever international cricket match, against the USA, in 1844. We were known as ‘the British Empire’s Canadian Province’ and we won by 23 runs. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_ ... icket_team https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadia ... es_in_1844 A match is still played between the two nations and is known as the Auty Cup. In a moment of irrational exuberance, cricket was apparently declared Canada’s first official sport by our PM in 1867 but the climate did not co-operate and it failed to catch on with the lower orders. A few posh schools still play it and it is of course popular with new Canadians. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/K.A._Auty_Cup These days a lot of the players on the national team are South Asian as you can see: http://www.espncricinfo.com/Cricket/con ... 61416.html |
