Wanna hear the punch line? They're made in China.

It's OK though, apparently they're Eco-friendly.

Seriously though...aren't these things ghastly. I'm going to be ashamed to see our guys in these. If we're so chintzy with the uniforms it has to make you wonder if our whole team got the kind of support necessary to make at least a couple trips to the medals podium.

What happened to the Candadian guys who used to do the outfits? They were great. I think they were called roots.

I agree, even Zellers wouldn't sell those outfits. :D

They look dirty. They look like the need to bathe.

I heard a good one on the radio. This woman was saying it looks they were wearing their pyjamas in the middle of that Italian tomato festival where they smoosh each other with tomatoes. She kind of agreed with you Mr. Canada.

I think I saw a pair of these in the children's clothing section of Wal-Mart a few years ago. They were on sale. Infact, they were basically throwing them at people, begging people to take them.

Exhibit A would make a great camoflauge pattern, if you were colour-blind! Maybe they thought that since most people were going to boycott watching the games it wasn't worth the money to have Roots do them this time. Holy Ugly!

You the Fashion Police now?

:D

I don't really care what they wear. I just hope to see them on the Podium.

I'm American... I'm the World Police! Haven't you heard already???

Just kidding! I do not like that part of American political stupidity.

I agree, hopefully the uniform debate does not distract the athletes from their efforts. In fact, I hope that Canada and the US medal every event and make the Chinese look bad for not winning on their own turf! :)

What in the flying fuck was that? Did we steal them from bad dance suits from the 70s or something?

God we have another reason to boycott...whoever designed that needs to be beaten

Beating wouldn't be harsh enough. Make them wear the suits for a year! 8)

I think someone broke a bottle of Pepto-bismol and tried cleaning it up with a rag and then said, "Hey, what about this?"

If only we were so lucky. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of money they spent designing these. Oh and the ones the athletes will be wearing will be made of some sort of space age tubular mumbo jumbo which loosely translates into lots of $$$$$.

But on the bright side they are supposedly environmentally friendly. That being said, what the f*%# do they mean by environmentally friendly? What, are the athletes able to eat their uniforms after wearing and sweating in them all day.
