I don't know why Simple Plan was there.
I mean, all the other artists had songs that made sense and related to the games in some way. Keep on Running, Wunderkind, Burn it to the Ground, etc. But Your Love is a Lie? WTF?!

I really liked the closing ceremony. The only thing I didn't get was the line up from Nickelback to K-os. I was hoping for Sam Roberts' 'Fixed to ruin' or even Sloan's 'If it feels good do it'. Neil Young was cool, though. |

There wasn't enough french entertainment. There are hundreds of very very talented Quécois(e) that could have been asked to entertain, both in the opening and the closing ceremonies.. Would have loved to see Don Cherry have a part as well. |
