The group of Canadians who made up our team at the Spengler cup have come away with a victory. I know the juniors are having a whale of a tournament and a great game right now, but I've watched a couple of the Spengler games and it is good hockey. This year with the strike there were more good players from all over on the teams. |

Great tourney by Team Canada. The guys played well...was most impressed with Dubnyk and my perenial favorite John Tavares. Rock on Team Canada! |

Ya, if not for the Biggman Canadas team would have been short some NHL players, although other teams had NHLers too. If there had been an American team that so benefitted from the strike he might have deserved some thanks... just not from me.
