There isn't one. It's a dog whistle moment ginned up by the local TO media to score some cheap heat. The sight of the left-wing pukes at the Star and tard-fuckers in the Ford Nation working in conjunction to beat up on some other poor sap like Norm Kelley is kind of ironic to say the least. :|

Intricacies, I think.
Especially with the recent power grab in TO.

If it was an 'official emergency', then Kelley would be in charge of organizing things,
if no emergency, then I guess Ford stays in charge, and Kelley taking off isn't
a big deal from an organizing POV.

Only optics.
