The leftist elite decided we could stop worrying about those if they simply rewrote the definition of pollution to mean an invisible but essential gas all mammalian life exhales to help plants grow. Actually it's caused by excessive emissions from burning coal at their power plants, garbage quality gasoline and diesel fuels, and millions of vehicles ungoverned by any sort of emission standards. In other words it's what happens in places that have taken the same approach to pollution that "conservatives" like you want to return to North America and Europe. Killer London Smog of December 1952 that claimed 12000 lives? FAKE! FAKE NEWS! #MAGA! Nothing but the best pollution! The most luxurious job-creating pollution you can imagine! Did you ever hear the one about how a big contributor to arctic ice loss is blackened snow from coal particles blown north from Asia. It's global. Even locally though didn't pollution control devices start appearing under Harper and Bush? I thought they did. Too lazy look it up, but doesn't matter I can rely on lefties to scurry over to do an actual search if they think they've gotta gotcha. Doesn't matter really. The air got cleaner under those two. I watched it happen. I don't care what the first ten regressive owned pages at google say. Here's one I know I can find because I've posted it before. There are graphs showing how even the greenhouse gas emissions decreased in North America while they were increasing in the Kyoto enriched, carbon taxed areas of Europe. Guess why. I'll help you. It was because it became economically viable to rely less on coal and more on natural gas. Natural gas burns cleaner. Also the companies invested in cleaning coal emissions at the source. They were getting pretty good at it too. |
