....the airplane formerly known as.... Too bad now that Airbus had to step in and now owns the majority rights to the plane, it’s only of limited benefit to Bombardier. This whole C-series fiasco is going to make it extremely difficult for Bombardier to ever make a plane of this size on their own, and I’m sure Airbus and Boeing will do their part to ensure that as well. |

So wait.... Bombardier keeps a 31% stake in the aircraft, which would suggest that they woul still garner a fair bit of revenue from the sales of the plane. 31% seems better than nothing, in my opinion. And, it wasn't Boeing that bought the majority share, which might have made everything turn out a bit differently. I'm going to take a wait-and-see outlook with this one before I engage. -J. |
