On this naive idea that Faith doesn't have an income. That lawyer you see her with didn't just appear. He's one of the best in Toronto and he charges accordingly.

I watched a video from Faith where she was soliciting funds to hire that lawyer to sue Bell. She said she needed $50,000 dollars and it couldn't go to her campaign fund so she wanted it sent to her personal account.

That was just a few days ago. $50,000. Can you do that, Beave? Of course not. So maybe it's time for you to do this: :oops:

No. You munchkin mind :wink: :lol: Patrons contribute to new media providers to complete their different projects. Rebel, Blaze, CRTV and individuals like Faith, Bill Whittle, Lauren Southern and many others all work this way. It's a job. $50,000 dollars in 3 days is just an example of the kind of money they could conceivably pull in with that model.

The difference between you borrowing money and them earning money from patron contributions is what they're doing is called work. They pay taxes on the money they earn. The business model has been around since the days of Mozart.

I don't want to seem mean, Beave but really...you should be able to figure this sort of stuff out for yourself.

I gave you an example of the kind of money available to her through the business model she uses.

Patronage as a business model is responsible for some of the greatest art, science and music in history.

The current model is often mixed with other models such as advertising or disguised as subscriptions.

But it isn't just our side politically that uses this model. On your side I've seen 4th wave feminist Anita Sarkeesian boast about what a great entrepreneur she is. She calls what she does a business. It's the patronage business model.

You say you don't like that model but all I hear is a jealous "Wah!". Faith Goldy likely pays more in taxes than you make gross. That's just the way it is.

You can step off your high horse anytime you like. Faith is your superior in any way you'd like to mention.

If she’s making so much money why did she ask for help raising money for a lawyer? People who already suppother are asked to ‘dig a little deeper’ and help her out.

True. You could offer a service like that one you like. Remember? Right Wing Watch. The guys who stalk, vilify and harass right wingers or anybody who deals with them. They're financed largely by the Mack Daddy of all Patrons - George Soros.

Come to think of it organizations like that are responsible for Faith being kicked off Patreon. Patreon is a business that handles transferring of funds from Patrons to employees.

Oh and here's another one for you I know you like. The Southern Poverty Law Center. They've been sneaking millions of dollars out of the country they got through a patronage system.

In fact just for fun here's a Liberal YouTuber who uses the patronage system critiquing the Progressive Anna Kasparian of The Young Turks. Both use the method you call " frothing rants on a webcam." Also they get paid patronage money.

I don’t watch anyone’s YouTube rants and I certainly don’t send them money.

But it’s not tthe YT who are out there pulling publicity stunts and trying to run for office to increase their clicks.

Faith cozied up to white supremacists, now she’s a pariah even among her own right-wingers and this mayor stunt is just a way to build her views and clucks and donations back up.

She’s irrelevant and she’s a fringe extremist.
