llama66 llama66: Even if Ottawa won the first pick overall, Ottawa will not draft first overall. Ottawa's first pick belongs to Colorado. That's right? The Duchene trade. Forgot about that.  But sometimes there's a lottery exempt clause. Anything like that? Boy, Ottawa and Edmonton aren't doing us any favors for Canadian sports pride, are they? |

Ottawa properly fucked themselves. Hope Tkachuk was worth it. Now an already stacked team gets a shot at Hughes, Eugene Melnyk and Pierre Dorion should be proud. They've returned the Sens to a level of competitiveness I've not seen since 1994 for the Sens. Great Job guys! |

Sportsnet and TSN were boasting like Edmonton had scored. Just looked it up to see who the Islanders got with Edmonton's # 1 pick. It was Mathew Barzal.  And Reinhart is down in the AHL. |
