Why would they help a company caught making illegal donations to the Liberal Party? Hmmmm.

pfft. They wouldn't they have; they have nothing to gain from helping a company that's made millions in donations over the past few years. SNC would never have the gall to call in a favour from the Government... let alone the PMO.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these allegations were true but let’s remember SNC made donations to both liberal and conservative parties, all which had to be reimbursed when the scam came to light 8 years ago. And

the executive behind the scheme at SNC was appointed by STEPHEN HARPER to the board of the Port of Montreal.

So Let’s not conflate this with some “quid-pro-quo” for a failed contribution attempt almost a decade ago before most of the current leadership was even around.

SNC Lavalin is like Boeing in the US it’s a giant government contracting corporation that throws its weight around on both parties and bureaucracy insiders. It’s also a serial offender whern it comes to sketchy/illicit government dealings at home and abroad.

It becomes an ethics scandal at a minimum, and possibly even a crime, if the PMO punished Wilson-Raybould with a demotion if she refused to lay off on SNC in order to install a different cabinet minister who would co-operate with the scheme. That's the Canadian version of obstruction of justice, and that's where the meat of the scandal lies and it becomes worse every day that the Liberals refuse to answer questions about it. Wilson-Raybould is hiding behind lawyer/client privilege to avoid talking but the question then becomes which one is she in this mess - the lawyer or the client?

Justin Trudeau - learned how to polarize the country from his father and apparently learned his political ethics & morals from Jean Chretien. Wonder if there'll be any chintzy & small-town-cheap autographed golf balls being handed out among the participants.
