So because it's illegal, it has to be black. This topic is racist. |

Ontario does not equal Canada. Ontario fucked their system up so badly that black market is having a hay day. My not-legal provider has daily fire sales....because he so desperate for business...which he has lost to legal sales. He can't compete with the quality price points. Volume wise, he has better stock access than the legal outlets. He can provide you with as much low grade, cheap stuff you want, but he can't get high quality products for a price anywhere near the legal outlet. |

Strutz Strutz: NO WAY! First off, I don't think anyone ever said legalization would put an end to black market sales. Second, one can blame the Fed for being completely unprepared for legalization despite having three years to get it right. When I placed my first order with the Ontario Cannabis Store, they couldn't even fill my order for three lousy grams. There's still a black market? But...but... they said all tht bad stuff would vanish when they made it all okey dokey for everyone to toke up! /sarcasm This should be in that new DUH! thread Which brings us to the other problem, price. Looking through the prices, the legal weed isn't really any cheaper than the black market shit. If I still have to pay street prices while the Fed can't keep the supply up, then there's not a lot of incentive to buy the legal shit. |

PublicAnimalNo9 PublicAnimalNo9: When I placed my first order with the Ontario Cannabis Store, they couldn't even fill my order for three lousy grams. That's really screwed. Alberta Cannibus will sell me 30 grams easy, and usually stuff from Tweed or Aurora that is grown in Ontario. I almost never buy more than 15. I don't always get what I want, because the popular stuff is in short supply. But I can get far more than I want. Same problems Colorado had when they went legal. Except I didn't read the label on one, and I notice it says 0% THC. So I'm curious. |

Alberta legislation roll out allowed large scale supply contracts. Ontario's draconian roll out did not. Now, Ontario based producers have supply contracts they successfully fill in Alberta, while their own province has shortages. Major provincial level fuckup. Fed's did their part, provinces are hit and miss. Yes, whole system could be better. |
