You have got to be kidding me. The Liberals must be getting desperate to trot this clown out and have him say that because SNC Lavalin wouldn't have been prosecuted in Great Briton they shouldn't be prosecuted in Canada.

Given that logic, it should be okay for the Canadian gov't to harvest organs from prisoners because China allows it. ROTFL

I'm sorry but this is Canada and SNC Lavalin broke the law. So, just because certain people in the Liberal Party including Trudeau are willing to break the law for their or someone else's benefit doesn't mean that our judicial system should be circumvented by anyone.

To be clear, based on what’s been revealed, they did not “break the law”

Trudeau's between the rock and the other thing. If he gives SNC deferred prosecution he gets the Quebec vote, and loses votes in the ROC, or he loses Quebec.

That has yet to be determined.

Attempting to obstruct justice isn't against the law? So I guess if I "attempt to kill you" that's not against the law? Are we now basing the law on whether or not you were successful in breaking it?

I would say there’s a long way to go before people can jump to that conclusion. Even JWR said they didn’t break the law.

Maybe, maybe not. What's been revealed so far is apparently enough for Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives lawyers to disagree with your and the PM's assessment of what constitutes a crime.

$1:
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer called on the RCMP to start investigating and said in an open letter Thursday that he believes the pressure Wilson-Raybould described represents a “gross violation of the law.” He pointed to two sections of the Criminal Code that he believes may have been broken: one that prohibits conduct meant to provoke fear in the attorney general, and another that says it’s against the law to try to obstruct justice.

So we'll have to wait and see what any RCMP investigation reveals because this scandal isn't going away anytime soon. Besides, it's likely the Conservatives will get their way especially since the PM is in no position to legally or illegally block any RCMP investigations because if he did it'd be like a giant billboard proclaiming his and his offices guilt.
