I was really suprised about 10 years ago when I was driving north out of Big River Saskatchewan. Just at the boundary of Provincial Forest something big and hairy with about 6 little hairies ran across the highway. Reaction 1 was small bear with way too many cubs. Was a big sow.

Let me say this: wild boar are why you need a big bore semi-auto with a large capacity magazine. :idea:

No sir. Boar are assholes, and very dangerous up close. When I went for them, it was with a .303 or .22/303 and a scope for distance, and a .44 wheelgun in case they got up close and personal. ;) Same if we were hunting Bear.

They never did, but it was nice to have the 'insurance policy'. PDT_Armataz_01_36
