raydan raydan: I know that Fiddle will say that this one isn't crazy, that he's a sane person that decided to cut up infidels because he converted to Islam. In this case, I believe that he converted to Islam because he's crazy... like the story said, even his friends thought he was an odd person. Unrelated question... who the f**k names their son "Mert"?  You know what they say about people who assume, Ray.  Although you are partially right here. I would say in both cases the perps appear to have been driven over the edge by extremist ideologies. So they both, kind of, are nuts. Also kind of aren't but they both made crazy, stupid choices. As to the Stratos theory that it's easier to be brave with a knife than with a gun I'd disagree. I'd say it depends how big the knife is, how close the proximity and who you're dealing with. Might apply to the gun too. Do you remember those jihadis in London who smashed into a crowd? I think it was around the London Bridge. Might be called the London Bridge attack. Anyway, they rushed the pubs when their car crashed and started stabbing people inside. Did you ever hear about the guy who challenged them, got into a tussle with them and was cut to ribbons? He seemed pretty brave. Although most likely also drunk and apparently he had a thing against that ideological type of nutso attacker. In any case he allowed others in the pub to escape. Saved a bunch lives. |

I just saw video on the evening news of the guy who was getting all stabby, running through the streets of Sydney, screaming Allahu Akbar. Yeah, he's nuts too. CTV says this is news so I guess I'd better go post it as such. |

Going to be interesting if this guy ever gives a reason for his actions. POS killed his stepsister and tried to kill others. Now he wants to not talk about it. His right to do that but what is/was he thinking for doing this is what interests me. As with other mass shootings and attempted mass shootings, knowing what they are thinking and the ways of it interest me. |

My bad, literally forgot about her as I was more focused on potential killings of Muslims by gun/shooter as it happened in past quite a times. |
