So anyways, the story from the legit source I linked to above says the huge gap in Canada's new election interference laws is that it only applies to BS that originates abroad.

They can't go after false stories concocted inside Canada.



What made your source legit? Did they get some of that, payoff money the Liberals robbed from the taxpayers to give out to approved media outlets and with it one of these new 'accreditation' things they've been handing out for the election?

According to an article by Vivian Krause in the Financial Post, the National Observer has received funding from The Tides Foundation of San Francisco

Even that left biased site on media bias the leftists love almost as much as they now love Snopes is forced to admit the observer has a Liberal bias at least on the bad side of center left and accuses them of using loaded words with appeals to emotion.

No; if it makes you angry, it probably isn't true. If you want it to be true, you likely won't look into it too deep. It's not a left/right thing.

If you don't recognize the source, it probably isn't true. Small, unknown outfits likely don't have the inside sources or reporters needed to check and cross check back story, so they are unlikely to break big stories that the MSM can't. And the Post Millennial and Buffalo are known to post made up bullshit, because it makes their readership angry, and gets them more eyeballs..

But a cursory check of these stories usually shows they are fake, especially if the story was posted days or weeks ago and we are just hearing about it now.

I honoured Bernier with my vote this morning and proud to do so. Vote #peoplesparty. I refuse to condone any longer political parties going around promising us things paid for with our own tax dollars. Bernier has stuck to discussing policies, not bribing us with our own money. Refreshing change. How did Canada sink so low that the best choice we have is May; Singh; Scheer or Trudeau. SAD commentary on leadership. The only leader in the bunch is Maxime Bernier. GO MAX.
