For many parties, that fee is refundable. They will also pay for a certain amount of advertising. And the best advertising is still knocking on doors. |

They've been a mess for DECADES and they're also emblematic of the racism against the Roma/Gypsy people whose children are most commonly held in the orphanages. The communists utterly destroyed the Roma communities and their neighborhoods were frequent targets for what we would call urban renewal projects. The result was tens of thousands made homeless because these people did not conform to the ideal of the communists. They were tradespeople, they were hard working farmers, they were small business people and the goddamned fucking evil communist c*nts went to war against them. That's the same communism you want in Canada and elsewhere. That shit causes nothing but misery and if you'd pull your head out of your ass and go see what Marxism has actually done you'd hate it too. Romanian capitalism is in its infancy. It's still trying to climb out of the cultural and political morass that was created by communism but they're making progress. Oh, and if you ever go visit don't mention any of your love for communism because those people are prone to fucking murder you for suggesting they should dive back into a shithole society that they're fighting to get out of. |

For a guy with the "people's party" logo next to his name you seem kind of oblivious to the reality that while a $1000 might mean nothing to you it actually means a world of difference to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people living on the edge in this "great" country of ours. You try living that way for a while, and not just like the street people but just like the working and middle-class who are so stressed out by the basic cost of living that they're not able to save anything anymore due to the wild increases in the price of accommodations, transport, and food in this country over the last fifty years. And BTW our fucking governments in this country, especially the Liberal ones who genuinely believe that every dollar a working person makes actually belongs to the government instead, are as much responsible for this situation as the greedy banks, corporations, and short-term investors who kill entire industries off are. |
