In any case what he's talking about seems to be happening on its own anyway. I imagine Kyle wants him and his to take control of making it happen faster. And some like myself will scratch our heads and wonder why. Is this about expressing some sort of superior virtue or exercising a superior control? Now we're seeing why the cancel culture chose this moment to take down Don Cherry, I think. The progressive left thinks this is the time to take more control over hockey. For the Progressive Left it's always about control. |

$1: Kyle Dubas wants to see more diversity in hockey and he's starting with the front office of the Toronto Maple Leafs. OK. Start with the front office but then what? Was he really just bragging about "diversity" in his own front office? As opposed to which other team's front office then? Cut the crap he wasn't just talking about front offices. The question he was responding to concerned general diversity in sport. He responded with, "here's what we're doing in our front office and aren't we wonderful," or something like that. Front offices didn't seem to be the general idea of what BCTV wanted to get to though (and yes, I did read it.) |

As to woman and minorities, there's more every year just by natural progression. Who cares? I don't want Progressives (re cultural marxists) using the diversity issue to hijack hockey like they've done to so many other bits of our culture, is my point. I listen to Sikh commentators and play by play guys on Sportsnet Vancouver. I'm fine with them. They know their stuff. They're a lot better than the Prog, east coast, negative Nancy, blatherers on TSN. Between periods on Sportsnet Vancouver we get a woman and a guy. I like the woman. She's nice to look at, Hockey knowledgeable and always up on any scoop. |
