of course he is polarizing all he does is virtue signal, and this BS about a balanced gender cabinet is completely out of line. When 50% of the MP's are women, then you can have 50% female ministers, until then it should remain the same ratio as elected otherwise you are getting shitty people in jobs they are likely not qualified for. |

How dare a politician voice political opinions, who does he think he is? Apparently conservatives think only hockey commentators and YouTube trolls are entitled to that privilege. Cabinet posts are assigned to MPs not to “the most qualified people”. If the point was to fill the positions with ”the most qualified people “ then they would advertise the jobs to the general public and hire the job applicant with the best resume. Also it’s curious how people who believe there should be no quota for women demand that their be a quota foe their home province and region. I’ll bet you’ll howl like a wolf if there aren’t enough westerners on there or too many from Ontario or Quebec and suddenly “qualifications” wont be so important to you. |
