Absolute devastation in several states.

Isn't December unusual for this type of severity from tornadoes?

December is usually the limit for these storms. As another point, the Atlantic hurricane season stopped without warning this year.

Nothing to see here. Move along, move along.

With so many patterns changes and strange stuff going on it really makes you wonder how people can still deny it’s a problem.

The only reason they don't believe it is because they don't want to believe it.

Absolutely brutal news, especially that town in Kentucky that got ripped to shreds.

And naturally Sen. Rand Paul is asking the federal government for relief after he votes against it for every other state it happens to.

The 'problem' only exists because the government and their media outlets say it does.

The original article I linked has been updated with devastating photos and video. There are sure to be more fatalities as they are able to access more homes and buildings to search. :(

A tragic event to occur just 2 weeks before Christmas.

I think that the storm system that formed those tornadoes was the same one that blew heavy wind gusts through here today. The gusts were crazy here today, blowing many things over and sending debris everywhere.

One of the lakes near me had a light covering of ice yesterday. Today's high winds shifted the ice and drove it up against some docks people still had in the water. It continued to build which eventually tore the docks away. The ice and docks were last seen heading east.

Believe it or not, there were no power outages around here. The gusts of wind were more than enough to take down power lines, but all they did was blow some debris all over the place and knock over signs and such.

My lake doesn't start to freeze until January comes around. We haven't seen any ice being pushed up on shore for a few years now. That being said, this winter is supposed to be a but more brutal than most, according to the almanac.

That you believe in the Alamac but not in climate change is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.
