I've been spending some time trying to find a particular clip in one of the twitter feeds that Scape posted. It wasn't the main one that the link went to but I found it further down when I scrolled through the thread. I was going to post it but got sidetracked and now I can't find it. Damn it was a good one too. It was of a few Russian helicopters getting shot down from the ground. Kaboom!

Was it this one?

No not that one though I've seen this footage in several twitter threads as well. I'll stumble upon it at some point again or someone else will once it gets re-posted, as it seems to happen to a lot of those vids. Thanks anyway!

How about this one then?

No, but I've seen this one as well repeatedly.

The one I saw was definitely in a twitter thread and I think I found it by going to a link, from a link... I've tried searching but have given up. Maybe it was taken down or something.

I believe I recall pasting the text in the post into google translate because it was in Spanish (I think). However, I did several of those last night and this morning so I'm not 100% sure. The helicopters were flying over land (it looked like countryside with a few houses below) and the shots came from the ground with a few misses but also at least 3 hits. The video was taken from a bit of a distance so for all I know they may have been drones that got hit.

Belarusian volunteers from the Kalinovsky battalion took the oath on Freedom Day. Since that day, the battalion has been part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Well, it's probably the end of the shitty-built tank that's more lethal to it's own crew than it is to the enemy simply because it was made in a garbage autocracy where strong manufacturing quality control & decent engineering for military equipment is even more rare than any respect for human life. The guys in American, British, German, and Israeli built tanks don't have this same problem and most likely never will.

Mud is far more lethal to tanks than ATM's but ATM's are way more click-baity.

I think it is fair to say that the modern tank is on par with the battleship in WW2. It still has purpose but is too expensive to replace/maintain once bullets are flying. The leading edge tanks will be more survivable, creating more experienced crews.

RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE CAMPAIGN ASSESSMENT, MARCH 25
$1:
Key Takeaways

The Russian General Staff is attempting to adjust the war’s narrative so make it appear that Russia is achieving its aims and choosing to restrict operations when in fact it is not achieving its objectives and is being forced to abandon large-scale offensive operations because of its own failures and losses as well as continuing skillful Ukrainian resistance.
Ukrainian forces claimed to kill the commander of Russia’s 49th Combined Arms Army, operating around Kherson.
Ukrainian counterattacks northwest of Kyiv made further minor progress in the past 24 hours.
Ukrainian forces additionally conducted a successful counterattack east of Kyiv in the past 24 hours, pushing Russian forces east from Brovary.

The military situation in northeastern Ukraine did not change in the past 24 hours.

Well, this morning I found this article:
$1:
Ukrainian air defense shot down four helicopters of the Russian occupation army near Kherson in the morning, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Thursday.

"Near Kherson this morning, air defense crews of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine masterfully eliminated four K-52 helicopters of the Russian Armed Forces. We are proud of the Ukrainian soldiers," the message, illustrated by a video of the destruction of enemy aircraft, says.

Found the video I originally saw on twitter but here's the Youtube version of the same.

So one second, you're flying around in your helicopter and then "BOOM". Later, they might find bit of pieces of the copter and the crew... and the people who made the decision to start this care more about the loss of equipment than they care about you. :(
