FFS how awful. People should not have to go through this and perish this way.

Since I pretty much avoid youtube videos here is a written article about it:

Sometimes video let you see the story in a different way, like the mourning of a husband for his wife. :(

These deaths happen but just like a coverup it's never the action but the reaction that is so damming.

Healthcare in Canada is precarious in provinces that are not the big three (Ont, Que and BC). They may have to adhere to the same health act but the money they have to put to it is considerably smaller and the cracks in the system are far more apparent in areas where there just isn't population to sustain the cost.

In theory equalization payments are supposed to remedy this, in reality that money is always siphoned off to fight more pressing and immediate issues the province is facing at the time. Incompetence and graft also plays a role but not to the scale it is played up in the media. It's a simple numbers game and in the small provinces they just have to do more with less.

Yes, I am aware of that. Media sites such as CBC, CTV, etc quite often include video with their articles and of course there is the watching of the news on TV that I do anyway.

It's specifically youtube I have the issue with.

Unfortunately, it's the only one CKA supports.
