Let the American dollar loses more of its value and the protectionist reflex of Democrats will fade away.

That would be nice, but the dollar isn't losing value fast enough against the yuan to make the Dems happy.

Yes sheople, be afraid - be very afraid. Obomba or Clinton will definitely pull out of NAFTA if elected    . I'll tell you what, for anyone who believes that, I have a bridge to sell you. This is nothing more than bullshit election rhetoric designed to make some of their more gullible voters think that they could actually give a fat rat's ass about the outsourcing of jobs, or the coming end of the sovereignty of the U.S. Are people really stupid enough to belive this crap :?: - neither Hillbillary or Obombamendella would pull the U.S. out of NAFTA - NOT IN A MILLION YEARS, their handlers will not allow it.

Does that mean that we will be allowed to turn off the oil tap each time they start a pissing contest.

YES...because that is the real reason the US invaded Iraq...It was all about the oil..and they no longer need oil from Alberta... At least that's what the liberals will have you believe...

As I've said before, if the US was to go to war just for oil we'd invade Canada as Canada is our #1 source of imported oil.

Yeah, sure. That would work out great.
Get a clue.

K... That seriously confuses me...

He's insulting and bashing the Democrats... Yet he's part of the Truth Movement?

Does not compute. Ahh.

It's like Gay Conservatives. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN.

(this is sarcasm, don't start on me, ;) )

Glad your confused, I like to keep people in that status.. For the record, I don't think Bush "pulled off" 911. He is far to much a buffoon and an imbecile for that, he is just another useful idiot.

No country can have Current Account deficits forever, a bottomless goldmine would have to exist on its territory.

Oh good lord.

Useful for whom?

His handlers, whomever they may be.

And who the hell would you vote for?

Maybe Ron Paul, but he dropped the ball a while ago, and sat there and accepted the vote scam a month ago (Nebraska I think) so I can't think of who is running who would be acceptable.

Or a simpler question, Where are you on the political spectrum?

I favor small government with as little interference in private lives as possible. But I am deadly against the privitization of infrastructure (like railways and highways) and agreements like Nafta, which have paved the way for outsourcing and uncontrolled access by multinationals to our resources, with no oversight for environmental or social concerns. I am strongly in favor of national sovereignty and the continuation of the role the monarchy plays, I do not favor a republic form of government. Call that what you want in terms of politics - we need accountability and consequences from and for our elected rep's, and an end to the lobbying and graft which is destroying this country and the U.S. - Government works for us, not vice versa, but that is what things have come to - we are just indentured slaves while the elite skate out and hide their millions off shore and suck the life out of everything they touch.

First occupancy doesn't give you a rightful ownership of natural resources.

Also there is the fact that if America were ever to invade Canada, the goal would have been quite clear. That you would have been there for resources, because I highly doubt anybody would believe Canada would be supporting terrorists.

The USA would not invade Canada.

Good Lord, you people can be dense.

My point is that if the USA is really waging wars that are just about oil then why are we not invading Canada, Mexico, or better yet, Venezuela? Because maybe, just maybe the war wasn't about oil? Hello?

And you all insist the USA invaded Iraq over oil exports that principally go to India, China, and Japan. Puh-leeze.

I never said America would invade Canada, that was a WHAT IF remark. Hence the sentence "If America were ever to invaded Canada".

Also I just clearly answered your other questions in that same post you got that quote from... Might want to re-read that.

Well, actually, it floats in a band that has been gradually moving up relative to the dollar.

But that is the complaint of the Democrats - that the yuan peg is not allowing currencies to adjust fast enough.

I say if the Americans want to pull out of NAFTA, let them!
Canada has the rest of the World to trade with.
I'd rather have us join the EU, then rename it to the World Trade Union.
One day there will be a one world currancy, no trade barriers, and no tariffs.
