If their marriage isn't recognized back home do they need a divorce?  $1: “The problem with same-sex marriage is that if those people live in a country or state that doesn’t allow it, then they can’t get a divorce there, because their marriage isn’t recognized. That’s not the case with heterosexual marriages, where they can get a divorce at home.

leewgrant leewgrant: If their marriage isn't recognized back home do they need a divorce? They wouldn't be able to remarry in those jurisdictions that recognize gay marriage (Canada, Massachsettes, etc). Tough poop I say, next time read the entire law. |
