I'm sorry but you earn a diploma through hard work and meeting the academic requirements. WTF is she thinking by denying this student his diploma based on what happened? |

What kind of school has cops at their graduation ceremonies? (Except cop school of course). Either these are some bad kids, or the people who run the school are anal. Well, maybe both. |

No, I've read more and more are resorting to these kinds of things. It's complete BS, these are 18-19 year old kids, they aren't hurting anyone yet schools are being rather fasist when it comes to cracking down on supposid misbehavior. I'd be having my family lawyer contact the superintendant and threatening a lawsuit, she'd ante up pretty quick. |

getting a certificate of diploma, and having it handed to you on stage are 2 different things. I think this incident sounds silly that they asked him to sit down, But, i dont give a damn enough to want to argue it one way or another. However, he should still get the peice of paper he needs to move on to college or university |

More proof (as if any was needed) that school is primarily a tool to poroduce productive citizens, not educaiton. Kid should get a lawyer. |

When I was in high school they wouldn't give me my diploma till I gave them back my football jersey...................I should have kept the jersey.
