$1: Authorize police to use traffic safety stops as a means of determining whether drivers are impaired, driving while suspended or driving without insurance, among other serious offences.
which means they can sit on the side of the road and wait for you; one of the things that really piss me off about being in Europe. Oh well, the police state cometh. |

I really really really don't like this at all. It's a fucking joke. Also, the texting ban is appropriate... But I would never support the cops randomly pulling you over to see if a phone is in the vehicle. They can give a reason or get out of my face. |
