I won't bother reading right now and post my opinion now.
For one thing theres not enough people to keep up with the follow up as to what they are doing and such. Should be the ministry of immagration to dictate how many can enter the country. Then give them a time limit or better still a visa to find a job. No job , no stay. We don't need to import welfare cases that bring in their relatives afterwards, that has to stop, period.

We need doctors and fast. Stop the fucken red tape. Make them take a test, give them the tools to adjust and stop being so anal about it.

Quite simply, if you come here don't become a burden. Oh and a bit like the Americans too. After a certain time in this country you must prove you have adapted and know the laws and obey them. Any religious privalges demands and your out the door.

Why shouldn’t it be?

We want people that easily fit into our society, why should we dole out money for people to learn our languages and learn a skill when there are people in the line that already can fit into Canada from day one.


Enough of this crap that we can accept everybody, set the standard higher and save the money for health care.

Oh and family reunification can stop today. It’s a BS policy.

right on hwacker.. I agree there are plenty of skilled and educated people wanting to come here esp from the UK and other European countries. I have a friend in the UK who is a nurse and highly qualified and she has been trying to come here for 5 yrs.. pisses me off when I hear people are coming here and going on welfare..older folks who will never contribute... we need to be more selective of who and where they come from should be allowed in..
