Hey guys! Guess what?!
In the next couple of weeks the Northern Hemisphere embark on their traditional tours down in the summer hemisphere!
The itinary is thus:
England will tour South Africa
England have a special problem with this tour as a whopping 30 of their top players are unavailiable because of club commitments to the Henniken Cup Final. While this doesn't affect England's young and electric back line (Flood, Wilkinson, Tait, Strettle, etc) this does mean that they will be seriously depleted in the pack. The average age of the England pack will be nudging 35 when they take on the Springboks next week.
South Africa meanwhile are going to try and put their strongest side (or at least Coach Jake White's strongest side) into the field. Expect a massacare up front with South Africa trihumphant but with England causing problems with their fast and agile backs.
Ireland will tour Argentina
Ireland meanwhile head to Argentina and instead of players being unavailiable (apart from one or two), some of their big guns will be rested for this coming World Cup.
Argentina though are no pushovers, currently in the top ten rugby nations and having beaten Wales, France and England in the last four years (as well as push even the mighty All Blacks to the very limit at home), they'll offer Ireland the perfect warm up for the World Cup, and just as well too, because Ireland will be duking it out with Argentina for the last 8 place in that very tournament!
Wales will tour Australia
Wales also have a luxury of resting players if they want, but they still want to send a full stregnth side down under. The rivalry between Wales and Australia in rugby right now surpasses even that of England and Australia!
However, Wales are throwing as full stregnth a side as they can down there with even doubtful Gavin Henson being thrown into the fray. Expect lots of fun!
France will tour New Zealand
France however are the unlucky ones as right now, their domestic league means that they can't send anyone of any importance down south to New Zealand. Poor France, they'll be murdered
